He sees, He cares, and He invites us to come to Him. How might God be inviting you into His peace today? Just hours before Jesus went to the cross, He told His disciples, Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid (John 14:27). How is the peace Jesus gives different from the peace that comes from circumstances? (You can also look at John 16:33.) How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? Psalm 13:2a (NIV)
