We all go through seasons in our lives when the mental or physical pain feels beyond what we are capable of enduring. When oppressive thoughts threaten to overwhelm us, we can be honest with God. Jesus knows firsthand the pain we’re facing, and as His followers we can ask Him for help whenever we need it. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 (NIV)
